Our Story
The gap we exist to close.
Develobrite was founded on the observation that the PropTech and built environment software market contains a large number of operationally under-managed, strategically undirected, and insufficiently capitalized software businesses that have not reached their potential — due to gaps in pricing discipline, customer retention programs, distribution channel development, and M&A execution capacity.
Alexandra Pohl established Develobrite to address this opportunity through a disciplined acquisition platform with a proprietary operating system and a 47-fund architecture covering the full built environment software stack across the 2026 and 2028 vintages.
The platform was designed from inception with institutional LP investors in mind. Each fund is structured as a Delaware Limited Partnership audited by PwC, administered by an independent third-party fund administrator, and supported by outside counsel for all legal and compliance matters.
Mission & Values
What we build, why we build it, and how we hold ourselves accountable.
Mission
Build a full-spectrum PropTech and built environment software acquisition platform that delivers consistent institutional-quality returns through disciplined underwriting, systematic operational integration, and a portfolio management approach that accelerates ARR growth, improves NRR, reduces churn, and creates durable competitive positioning.
Vision
Become the leading institutional PropTech private equity platform — recognized for acquisition discipline, integration quality, GTM execution, and a fund architecture that enables LP investors to access the full built environment software opportunity through a single manager.
Values
Underwriting discipline. Founder and operator partnership. Full disclosure in all commercial relationships. Operational accountability at every portfolio company. A commitment to returns through genuine value creation — not financial engineering.

Founder & CEO
Alexandra Pohl
Alexandra Pohl is the Founder and CEO of Develobrite, a PropTech holding company that acquires, integrates, and scales founder-built software businesses serving the real estate industry.
Raised in a real estate family, Alexandra built early mastery in capital strategy and asset performance. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Exercise Science, competing as a Hall of Fame dual-sport NAIA D1 athlete, then deepened her competitive discipline through martial arts and an MBA in Global Business Management.
In the private sector, she spent seven-plus years at Toyota and Danfoss applying lean and TPS methodologies to complex multi-site operations — disciplines that translate directly into post-acquisition integration management, process standardization, and performance KPI deployment. Before founding Develobrite, she spent eight-plus years in senior U.S. federal leadership on regulatory and infrastructure matters, and has personally directed $300 million or more in development and capital programs.
“Pilots are not a business. Paying customers are.”
Hallmarks of Leadership
The operating philosophy behind every acquisition.
Platform Builder
Develobrite is built on a standardized acquisition diligence framework, a post-close integration playbook, and a shared technology infrastructure that allows acquired products to retain their market identity while capturing back-office and GTM synergies.
Adjacency & Product Innovation
Alexandra continuously identifies adjacent PropTech categories where bolt-on acquisitions strengthen the platform’s combined offering, increase cross-sell opportunity, and deepen switching cost for real estate operator customers.
Global Mindset, Local Execution
Acquisitions are evaluated with a global lens on real estate technology adoption curves — and executed through founder-sensitive integration teams that preserve the product culture customers chose in the first place.
Founder & Customer Alignment
Every founder dialogue starts with product and culture, not valuation. Customer retention through transition is tracked weekly post-close, with dedicated success outreach to at-risk accounts during the first 90 days.
Governance
Institutional standards, applied consistently.
Develobrite’s governance framework applies institutional private equity standards to PropTech software acquisition. Alexandra Pohl, Founder and CEO, chairs the Investment Committee and holds final approval authority on all acquisition decisions, portfolio company operational program approvals, and tuck-in M&A transactions.
Each investment fund maintains a standing LP Advisory Committee established at first close with quarterly reporting obligations.
All fund vehicles are audited annually by PwC, administered by an independent third-party fund administrator, and supported by outside counsel for legal documentation, fund formation, and ongoing compliance.
Thirty percent of carried interest is held in escrow throughout the fund term under standard clawback provisions. The American waterfall distributes carry on a deal-by-deal basis, with LP protections built into every fund vehicle.
